Joseph "Joey" Bennett

Joseph "Joey” Bennett, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at the age of 45. Devoted son of the late William Bennett and Karen (Jim) Fernandez; dear brother of the late Kelly (Roger) Ugalde; loving nephew of Kathryn Curtis, Mitchell Curtis, JoAnn Collins and Julie (Dave) McDonald; cherished uncle of Dominique Orlando; precious cousin of Kevin Curtis, Kristy (Jan) Ramos, Alex (Whitney) Moran, and the late Benjamin Moran. 

Joey attended Francis Howell North. As a young kid, he played baseball and soccer. He was a boy scout and enjoyed making cars for the Soap Box Derby.  

Joey worked for a property management company, working in general maintenance. He also spent time helping his neighbors with any work they needed completed in their homes.  

Most of all, Joey loved spending time with friends and family, particularly to watch sports. He was a proud fan of the St. Louis Cardinal’s. He loved his dog, Simon. Joey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Memorials may be made in Joey's name to Stray Rescue of Saint Louis or the American Cancer Society.
