Joseph F. Hoff

Hoff, Joseph Francis, of St. Paul, MO, died on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Geraldine Patricia Hoff; beloved son of John and Anna Hoff; devoted father of Jean (Frank) Bean, John (Leanne) Hoff, Bill (Mabel) Hoff, David (Carol) Hoff, Larry (Pam) Hoff, Jo Ann (Eric) Irvine, and Greg (Julie) Hoff; cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Dan) Kramer, Jason (Angela) Bean, Jessica (Matt) Rosenhoffer, Christal (Joe) Rogers, Andrew Bean, Cheryl (Jon) Liszewski, Heather (Doug) Runge, Benjamin Hoff, Scott (Katie) Hoff, Sarah (Matt) Molitor, Rachel Hoff and fiancé Joe Liscombe, Jr., Joseph Hoff, Tony Hoff, Ryan (Heather) Hoff, Kara Hoff, Ailey Irvine, Alistair Irvine, Stewart Irvine, Doug Hoff, Kyle Hoff, Mikayla Hoff, Grace Hoff, and Olivia Hoff and great-grandfather of 19; dear brother of Walter (Norma) Hoff; and treasured brother-in-law of Dorothy Hoff and other surviving in-laws Maurice Illy and Ann Illy. He is preceded in death by his brothers Albert and Henry Hoff.

Joseph was born on the original family farm established in 1868 which is recognized as one of Missouri’s Century Farms.  He was extremely devoted to his family and known for his fun loving nature.  He spent 42 years building a business in agriculture with his brother Walter where they developed lifelong friendships. He was a modest man known for his integrity in business and in life.  He frequently combined his love of family, friends, and sporting events to celebrate life.  He will be deeply missed.
