Joseph Henry Vomund

Joseph was the beloved son of the late Joseph W. and Elizabeth Vomund; loving husband of the late Odelia ''Dolly” Vomund; devoted father of Ronald J. (Nancy) Vomund, Linda K. (Stephen) Hornbostel and Joan (Marvin) Burnett; cherished brother of Nicholas Vomund (Dorothy), Aloysius Vomund (Arcella), Paul Vomund (Joan), William Vomund (Ruth), Cecilia Luetkenmeyer, Catherine Bauer, Ursula Orf (Martin), Lorraine Feldewerth (Dave) and Sr. Michaeleen C.PP.S.; dear grandfather of Jarrett Hornbostel and Brendan Hornbostel. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and Charles Vomund and one sister: Mary Ann Kerpash. Mr. Vomund was a member of the K of C O'Fallon, lifetime member of St. Peters Square Dancers Club and St Paul Catholic Church. He worked for Hedges and Hafer in O’Fallon for 25 years and was a member of Meat Cutters Local 88.
