Joseph “Joe” Geer

Joseph "Joe" Geer, Sr., of Troy, Missouri, died on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the age of 75. Loving husband of Alice E. Geer (nee: Rogers); dear son of the late Harvey and Eva Merl Geer, Sr.; devoted father of Joseph (Dawn) Geer II and Dannette (Stephen) Findall; cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Stephen II, Patrick, Scott, Jesse, Alexis, Geoffrey, Hayden, Maddie, and great-grandfather of Kristen; dear brother of William Geer, Charles Geer, Mary Swope, and the late Harvey Geer, Jr. Prior to Joe's employment as a truck driver for Flanagan White Delivery, he was a St. John Police Officer for a number of years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, but most of all he enjoyed watching his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking trips to Branson and loved working on cars and going to car shows. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans St Louis.
