Beloved husband and dance partner of Aneishia (Kleinheider) Knapp; devoted father of Desiree (Robert Wilmoth) Knapp and Joseph Thomas (Mona L.) Knapp; dear brother of Eleanor (Ralph) Hayes; brother-in-law of Carole Kindred; son-in-law of Dell Sumner; cherished step grandfather of Melanie and Julie Wilmoth, Justin Hopkins and Lindsey Gibbs; dear uncle and great uncle, friend and special daddy to Duffy. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry and father-in-law, William Sumner. Mr. Knapp served in the Armed Forces. He was in the home building industry for nearly 30 years and last employed by Great Central Lumber. He was a school board member in the Wentzville School District for 12 years and was a member of the 100 Dance Club and the Starlite Dance Club.
