Joseph Leo Powers

Joseph Leo Powers was born on February 20, 1031 in St. Louis Missouri to John and Geneva Powers. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Powers was a member of the Knights of Columbus Pezold Council. He was an avid golfer and retired from Schnucks Markets after 32 years of service. Mr. Powers served in the United States Marine Corps from 1950-1953. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia L. Patterson of St. Charles Missouri, his children Linda Sheppard (Fred) of Webster Groves Missouri, Cynthia Poston of Fredericktown Missouri, Timothy Powers (Irene) of Uralla New South Wales Australia, Patricia Price (James) of O'Fallon Missouri, Kathryn Stilz (Michael) of Lexintgon Kentucky, Joan Blattel (James) of Wentzville Missouri, Barbara Nadler (Douglas) of O'Fallon Missouri, Elizabeth Oswald (Richard) of Defiance Missouri, Paul Powers (Tracy) of O'Fallon Missouri, and Martin Powers (Jodi) of St. Charles Missouri, one brother, John Powers of St. Peters Missouri, four sisters, Betty Thomas of Hazelwood Missouri, Rosemary Uetrecht of Florissant Missouri, Barbara Burr of Manchester Missouri, and Carol Donton of Brimfield Illinois, twentyone grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Powers and Fr. Donald Powers, and his wife of 36 years, Beatrice Powers.
