Kinnevan, Joseph M. of Saint Charles, MO, died on Monday, February 23, 2015, at the age of 82. Beloved son of the late Frank Dennis and Mary Edith Kinnevan; loving husband of Hazel Lillian Kinnevan (nee: Dano); devoted father of Kurt (Pam) Kinnevan, Cathie (Pat) Decker, John (Linda) Kinnevan and Scott (Maggie) Kinnevan; cherished grandfather of thirteen; treasured great-grandfather of seven; and dear brother of Judy Ryder. He is preceded in death by two sisters Beverly Rucker and Deloris Zugenbuhler, and brother James Kinnevan.
Joseph loved his family. He enjoyed all of this children and grandchildren; however, he had a bit more patience for the grandchildren, after being worn down by his own children. Joseph was always involved in his children's lives; he was a scout master for his son's Boy Scout Troop, a baseball manager and coach for his son's little league, and was his daughter's softball coach. When it came to his wife, Hazel, she was his one true love. He loved her with all his heart and wanted the best for her. They were the best of friends and the best couple they could be.
Joseph enjoyed the 'Rock Farm' property near Hermann, MO, it wasn't quite the farm he promised to his wife, but it was their little get away. It provided great memories and stories that will pass through the generations. He enjoyed traveling with Hazel; they visited all 50 states as well as Canada and Mexico, the lower 48 on their Honda Gold Wing with friends Nita and Harold. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed hunting with his brother Jim, good friend Carl, his sons, and grandsons.
