Mueller, Joseph, of Saint Peters, MO, died on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the age of 30.
Cherished son of Mary Vien and Rich (Kathleen Stauder) Mueller; loving grandson of Francis and Arlene Vien and Roy Mueller; dear brother of Liz Mueller and Mandy Mueller; devoted godson and nephew of Tim Mueller; treasured nephew of Tom Mueller, Ann (Steve) Dioneda, Chris (Alf) Sexton, Cheryl (Detlef) Scherer, and Ray (Patty) Vien; beloved cousin and friend to many.
Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Mueller.
Joseph was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Sons of the American Legion Squadron 397 in Creve Couer, and was an associate member of Marine Corps League Detachment 725. He enjoyed watching and playing many sports including softball, karate, soccer, baseball, bowling, darts, and many other sports. He also enjoyed hunting and putting together model cars and RC cars. One of Joseph’s deepest passions was cooking. He started cooking when he was just two years old. He was very talented and attended L’Ecole Culinaire where he obtained his associates degree.
Joseph was a man of many talents and hobbies, but above all, he loved being with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorials may be made to Washington University School of Medicine or the Marine Corps League Detachment 725. The contributions will then be given to Toys for Tots in the St. Charles area. Please be sure to include Toys for Tots in the memo. There will also be a toy drive for Toys for Tots at the funeral home from 12:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturday, December 19, 2015. Please bring in toys and help continue Joseph's efforts at Toys for Tots.
Interment for Joseph will be at St. John Cemetery in Troy, Illinois at a later date.
