Joseph P. Harwin

Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America St. Louis Area Council at any Baue Funeral Home location. Joseph P. Harwin was born on February 14, 1930 in Scranton Pennsylvania to Joseph Benedict and Veronica Harwin. His loving parents preceded him in death. Mr. Harwin was a member of the Boy Scouts of America St. Louis Area Council. He was on the Boone Trails District Staff for 35 years. Mr. Harwin was also on the training staff as well as serving as the District Commissioner on the Eagle Board of Review, the membership committee, and in the Centurions. He was awarded the Boone Award, the Silver Beaver and the Wood Badge. Mr. Harwin is survived by his children, Richard Harwin (Jeanne) of St. Charles Missouri, and Thomas Harwin (Gail) of Bland Missouri, his grandchildren, Veronica, Lauren, Luke, Benjamin, and Jake Harwin, and his sister, Marie Snyder (Gene) of Modesto California.
