Dear son of Linda (Frank) Gierer and the late Lloyd Charles Porter; devoted father of Benjamin Gilbert, Breanna Porter, and Hailey Porter; dear brother of Charles W. (Shelly) Porter; loving uncle of Robert Porter and Charla Porter; prized nephew of Samuel Jones, Jr., David J. Jones, and Vesta Porter; and cherished grandson of Doris E. Jones. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
