Josephine “Jo” Asaro

Josephine “Jo” Asaro, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 87 on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Peter Asaro; her parents, James and Frances Benvenuto; and her siblings, Joseph Benvenuto and Mary Colletti.

Jo is survived by her children, Phil Asaro and Ruth (William) Simons; her grandchildren, Robin Lemieux, Isaac Asaro, and Olivia Asaro; her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Ayanna; her sisters, Ann Asaro and Katherine Terranova; and her daughter in-law, Paula Asaro.

Jo was talented at both cooking and baking, often making delicious meals or treats for the people closest to her heart. She had an amazing spirit of hospitality and truly would have loved to feed anyone. There was an artistic side to Jo as well and over the years she put her creative energies towards painting or arts and crafts projects. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
