Joshua “Josh” Johnson, age 26, of O’Fallon, Missouri, September 26, 2017. Cherished son of Chantel (Brad) Bach-Smelser and David (Kelly) Johnson; devoted father of Alexis and stepfather of Gabe; loving brother of Jessica, Jerika, Autumn, Leeann, Cole, and Michael; dear uncle of Kaleb, Lucas, Aaron, Michael Jr., Brendan, Hunter, Riley, and Jacob; treasured grandson of Patricia and Gerald Bach and Joyce and George Smelser; and husband of Amber Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Candy and Paul Johnson, and his great-grandmother, Wilma Marshall.
Josh was a wonderful cook who loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wonderful family, especially his nephews. Josh will be remembered for always helping others and having never met a stranger. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
