Joshua Michael Thomas, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the age of 18. Josh was the cherished son of Michael and Suzanne Thomas; loving brother of Caleb Thomas and Katherine Thomas; treasured grandson of Mike and Janet Rolwes, Sue and Jim Herrmann, and Steven and Cathy Thomas; dear great-grandson of William and Billye Niemetz and Audrey Rolwes; cherished nephew of Kevin Rolwes, Denise (Vince) Krekeler, Becky (Randolph) Sawyer, and Leslie Cluney; and treasured cousin of Zak Krekeler, Andrew Krekeler, Alex Krekeler, Zane Krekeler, Caroline Sawyer, Elisabeth Sawyer, Jacob Rolwes, Alex Cluney, and Ethan Cluney. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Lori Rolwes and great-grandparents, William and Norma Thomas and William Rolwes.
Joshua graduated from Fort Zumwalt East in 2016 where he played football, participated in wrestling, track, volleyball, cross country, and drama/theater, and was a member of various clubs. He was a current student at Truman State University and was a member of the Alpha Kappa Lambda Fraternity. He was also a very active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH). Joshua was well-liked and a friend to many. He was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.
