Joy F. Dennigmann

Joy Frances Dennigmann, of St. Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 83 on Sunday, April 5, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Dennigmann; and her parents, Kenneth and Cleo Johnson.

Joy is survived by her children, Greg (the late Marcia) Dennigmann, Denise Pohl, and Brad (Laura) Dennigmann; her grandchildren, Jason (Mindy) Schmelz, Sarah (Ron) Wilhelms, Sally (Jim) Ressler, Michael Dennigmann, Abbie Dennigmann, and Caroline Dennigmann; and her great-grandchildren, Caleb Schmelz and Gabe Schmelz.

Joy was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Joy enjoyed a career as a professional secretary at McDonnell Douglas and then later as a principal secretary with the Orchard Farm School District. She enjoyed playing pinnacle with her club for over sixty years, playing bingo on Friday nights, and treasured all the memories she was able to make with her friends. Catching Cardinals baseball on television was one of Joy’s favorite pastimes and she never missed the chance to cheer them on during their games. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Joy’s name may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, or to the American Kidney Foundation.
