Joyce was a faithful and devoted member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in St. Charles, where six generations of her family have attended. She was a member of the Mother’s Club Alumni and always the first in line for her family’s tickets to the Boar’s Head festival. Joyce was incredibly proud of her church, and the community of St. Charles as a whole.
Joyce will be remembered for having the most loving and generous heart. She was the world’s best grandma. She naturally mothered her friends and family and made everyone around her feel loved and included. Joyce never knew a stranger and would do anything for those she loved.
