Joyce Cross

Joyce C. Cross (nee Craft), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Allen B. Cross, Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Marie Craft; devoted mother of Carol Joyce Koch and Allen B. (Barbara) Cross, Jr.; loving grandmother of Laura (Richard) Powell, Jamie (Matt Pearson) Cross, Allen B. Cross, III, Lucy (Philip II) Lombardo and the late Richard Koch; treasured great-grandmother of Richard Powell, III, Conrad Powell, Madeline Powell, Phillip Lombardo, III and Molly B. Lombardo; dear sister of the late Marie Dolan and the late Ralph (Dawn) Craft. 

Joyce was known for her skill at the card table, where she delighted in playing bridge with her friends. She had a deep love for her work, where she made lasting contributions with her unwavering commitment and enthusiasm. 

Joyce was an avid figure skater and equestrian in her youth. She enjoyed watching sports and was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Blues, never missing a chance to support her team. 

But above all, Joyce cherished her family, especially her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She adored spending time with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Joyce’s adventurous spirit led her to travel the world, where she experienced different cultures and made countless memories that enriched her life. 

Joyce was dearly loved by all who knew her. Her warmth, joy, and kindness will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. 

Memorials may be made in Joyce's name to Mother of Good Counsel Nursing Home and Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
