Joyce Higgins

Joyce Camille Higgins, (nee: Bryan) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the age of 85. Cherished daughter of the late Alice and Camille Bryan. Devoted mother of Michelle Becher, Camille Porter, Laura (Andy) Szabo, Tim (Anna) Higgins, Patrick (Raquel) Higgins, Terry (Annie) Higgins, Nicole Hathaway, and Eileen (Mike) Muscott,  their father and dear friend Jim Higgins, loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren; treasured great-grandmother of 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sisters; Peggy (Bob) Nuelle and Babs Donnelly and dear cousin, Father Tom Bryan.

Joyce was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Millwood, MO and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Prairie. She enjoyed ceramics and had her own ceramics business for many years. Joyce was an avid reader, enjoyed crafting jewelry, and had a passion for gardening. Joyce also showed German Shepherds and Standard Schnauzers and in later years she discovered a love for traveling and went to many amazing places around the world. Joyce had a sweet tooth and loved her sweet treats but her most favorite treat was spending time with her children and grandchildren; Joyce was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
