Joyce Marie Probus

Joyce Marie Probus (nee Wethington), of O’Fallon, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late James Warren Probus; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Marie Wethington. Devoted mother of Jill (Melvin) Brinkmann and Jim (Deby Griesenauer) Probus; loving grandmother of Ryan (Kayla) Brinkmann, Nicholas Brinkmann, Tyler Probus, and Tori (Bailey Smith) Probus; treasured great-grandmother of Teagan Rose Brinkmann, Evelyn Grace Brinkmann, Felix Lee Brinkmann, and Sheppard Warren Gaines Smith; sister-in-law of Faye Probus and Kaye (Bill) Rankin. Preceded in death by sister, Melody Ann Williams.

Joyce was a founding parishioner of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She loved to go to The Muny and was a season ticket holder for around 40 years. Joyce was very caring, kind, compassionate, and helped anyone she could. Joyce also loved to travel. More than anything, she loved her family. Joyce was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
