Joyce Sue Radtke
July 25, 1957 — April 16, 2020
Joyce Sue Radtke, of Foristell, MO, passed away at the age of 62 on Thursday, April 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Hopkins; and her brother, Darin Hopkins.
Joyce is survived by her beloved husband, Allen Radtke; her children, Matthew Stenger and Brad (Sara) Stenger; her grandchildren, Hannah & Carolina Stenger; her mother, Franette Hopkins; and her siblings, Doug Hopkins and Janet Peeler.
Joyce was a track star in her younger years and ran so well that she was able to beat her male competitors. She was a graduate of the University of Missouri and in her free time, Joyce liked to sit down with a good book or go shopping.
Joyce remained strong during her thirty-five-year battle with MS, never once losing her smile or her positive spirit for she had many loved ones surrounding her to draw comfort from. Her family was always first in her heart and she treasured her life together with them as a devoted mother and loving wife. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial contributions in Joyce’s name may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
