Juanita Pilla

Juanita Pilla of Warrenton, MO, passed away at the age of 91 on Thursday, November 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Hackney; her grandchild, Angela Pilla; her parents, Joseph and Esther Roth; and her siblings, Curtis Roth, Agnes Draysdale, and Vernetta Vanpelt.

Juanita is survived by her children, Domenico (Anna) Pilla, Diane Kathryn Pilla, and Ben (Patty) Pilla; her grandchildren, Johnathan Pilla, Lauren (Adam) Christman, Gina (Shane) Orth, Carson Hackney, Sydney Hackney; and her great-grandchild, Koen Christman.

Juanita was strong in her faith and loved her bible study group and her church community at The Way Church in Warrenton. After graduating from Maryville University, Juanita dedicated over 30 years as a registered nurse. She was passionate about her creative hobbies and often enjoyed starting up a craft or scrapbooking project. Sitting down to watch a great movie was one of Juanita’s favorite pastimes, but above everything, she enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Juanita was always family-oriented, put her loved ones first, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Juanita’s name may be made to Most Holy Trinity Parish.
