Judith L. Allenberg (nee Massar), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 79. Loving wife of 28 years to Gerald F. Allenberg; beloved daughter of the late Freida and Raymond Massar; devoted mother of Kim (Julie) Ruhl and grandmother of Charlie Ruhl and Sam Ruhl, Eli and Austin and Ian Massar; dear sister of Linda Massar, Raymond (Julie) Massar, and the late Nancy Sue (Gerald) Sewell; cherished aunt of Terry (Kathy) Schultz; treasured great-aunt of Bryce Schultz and Sylvie Schultz.
Judith worked 13 years as a receptionist for Naomi House, 5 years in sales for Sheraton Hotel, and 5 years in sales for Harrah Casino before she decided to retire. She enjoyed working with the many guests she met daily. She was very kind and never met a stranger and got along with everyone. She was very athletic, she enjoyed walking and biking, especially on the Katy Trail.
Judith embraced Native American culture and always enjoyed learning more. She donated to the St. Joseph Indian School - Lakota Kids. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and they went on many cruises. They also visited Alaska, Hawaii, Panama, and South America.
Judith was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Judith's name to Evelyn's House.
