Judith Ann “Gunning” Sloan was born in St. Louis. The oldest daughter of Frederick “Fritz” & Rosemary (nee Coontz) Gunning. She was educated at St. Casimer’s School and attended high school at Riverview Gardens Senior High, Class of 1964.
Judy leaves behind her husband, Terry L. Sloan, who she married on September 20, 1986. Devoted mother of the late Colleen Wisecarver (Kenny); stepmother of Nikol Leitschuh and Amy Sloan; Loving Nana of Amanda (Greg) Sieckmann and Alex Wisecarver. Treasured great-grandma of Addilynn Sieckmann. Loving sister of Edna (Rudy) Smith, Debbie Bogert, and the late Elizabeth (Spike) Speichinger and Tom (Donna) Gunning. Judy also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Judy belonged to the “Artist Society of St. Charles” where she was a beautiful artist and painter. She loved to make beautiful cards, but her passion was wrapping herself around family and babysitting each and every one of them.
She touched so many lives in her lifetime and helped everyone in any way she could. She never met a stranger because she made everyone her friend. Her heart was as big as the sky, and she never said “no” to anyone. She will be forever missed.
Memorials may be made in Judy's name to Donor's Choice.
