Judith Anne “Judie” Boxdorfer (nee Bausch), of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the age of 73. Loving wife of the late Bill Boxdorfer; beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Doris Bausch; devoted mother of Tracee (Brandon) Salter and Rob Boxdorfer; cherished grandmother of Alexis Boxdorfer, Braedon Salter, Aaliyah "Leah" Boxdorfer, and Emma Salter; cherished sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Bausch. Judie is also survived by her fur baby, Sophie.
Judie was a true educator at heart and retired from Sylvan learning center after more than 15 years as Director of Learning. She was a social butterfly with a great sense of humor and made friends everywhere she went. She liked to stay busy and had many hobbies, which included sewing and crafting. She enjoyed the outdoors and tending to her garden. She was also a great cook!
Most important to Judie was her family, and she loved them dearly. She was a wonderfully devoted grandmother and always looked forward to seeing her grandkids. She enjoyed hosting parties, especially at Christmas, and loved giving gifts. She also enjoyed vacationing to the beach with her family, and in more recent years, to Maine with Bill.
Judith was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Judith's name to American Cancer Society.
