Judy Mae Huckelbery

Judy was born on June 25, 1946 in Risco, MO.  The daughter of Raymon and Willie "Ruth" Huckelbery.  She graduated from Lakeside High School in Arkansas and Arkansas A & M now known as University of Monticello.  She was married to John Wakefield and has lived in O'Fallon MO for many years.    She is a long time employee of Citi Mortgage.  She was very active through the years in Post 813 Boy Scouts of America, Eastern Star, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Daughters of the American Revolution including the Cameo Society,  the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Circle of Companions at Cornerstone United Methodist Church.  She was well known for contributing many hours of fund raising for such important causes as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital as well as the American Cancer Society.  She was always known for her cheerful and supportiveness for others when there was a need.  She is survived by a son, John David Wakefield Jr., daughter-in-law Tina (Carrico) Wakefield, and grandson Austin John Wakefield, all of St Peters Missouri, and sisters Willie Jean "Jeanne" Banks of California and Linda "Lin" Kay Grauman of Arkansas.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
