Julaine “Jackie” Eley

Eley, Julaine "Jackey" (nee: Toler), of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the age of 71. Loving wife of the late Walter J. Eley and dear daughter of the late Roy L. and Virginia Toler. Devoted mother of Cherri C. (David) Elder, Nicole G. (Mitch) Dawe, Sandra C. (Kevin Chrisman) Williams-Holaus, and Walter J. "Butch" (Stephanie) Eley, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Marsha, Bryan, Cheyenne, Shannon, Jerry Jr., Shane, Holly, Christopher, Stephanie, Khristine, Brendan, Kyle, Matthew; and great-grandmother of Marley, Jerry III, Ella, Jack, and Tristan. Beloved aunt, great aunt, and friend to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by siblings William Toler, Nevada Goodson, and Maxine Goodwin. Jackey deeply enjoyed antiquing, gardening and cooking. She also had a big heart and helped injured and stray animals. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stray Rescue of St. Louis or Humane Society of St. Charles.
