Julia A. Slattery

Julia A. Slattery (nee Odelehr), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at the age of 90. Loving wife of the late Dennis A. Slattery Jr.; beloved daughter of the late Aloysius and Julia Odelehr; devoted mother of Lynn (James) Larko, Sharon (Ron) Litteken, Kerry (Dianne) Slattery, Kenneth (Donna) Slattery, Kevin (Susan) Slattery, and Chris (Lisa) Slattery; cherished grandmother of Sam (Christen) Larko, Katie (Drew) Millwood, Brian (Jamie) Litteken, Christine (Chris) Hughes, Kimberly (Ryan) Braun, Melissa (Joe) Kalas, Brad (Rebecca) Kay, Christy Kay, Kyle (Lauren) Slattery, Dr. Lauren (Al Kenworthy) Slattery, Katia (Aaron) Shea, Ryan Slattery, Caitlyn Slattery, Connor Slattery, and Cian Slattery; treasured great-grandmother of Abby, Ethan, Johnny, Beau, Dylan, Riley, Colton, Mason, Peyton, Agnes, Frances, Charles, Nicholas, Calder, Adelaide, Gianella, Lucas, Madelyn, and Henry; dear sister of Mary Louise Vitale; sister-in-law of Dorothy Odelehr, Eleanor Andert, Judy Francis, and Jackie Anderson. Julia is also preceded in death by her siblings, John Odelehr, Sr. Catherine Odelehr C.D.P., Edward Odelehr and Jean Vieth.

Julia Slattery was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. After raising six children, she was an everyday part of the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all while working for the Department of Agriculture for nearly 20 years. After 48 years, she is once again with her husband, Denny. Julia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Julia's name to St. Vincent De Paul (Parish of Donor's Choice).
