Julia Theresa Laible

Laible, Julia T. (nee: Smugala), of Florissant, MO, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, on Friday, July 8, 2016, at the age of 81. Loving wife of Robert L. Laible; beloved daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Smugala; cherished mother of Kenneth (Jenny) Laible, Michael (Ava) Laible, and Kim (fiancé Steve Beckerman) Tunze; treasured grandmother of Paige, Haley, Meghan, Julia, Zachary, and Dylan; loving companion of Howie her beloved dog. She is preceded in death by her son Matthew Laible, her son-in-law Stephen Tunze, and her siblings Clara Kelam, Eugene "Pete" Smugala, Lorraine Skabialka, Sylvester Smugala, and Dorothy Mazuranic

Julia was a member of St. Rose Philippine Catholic Church. She loved bowling, gardening and looking for treasures, but mostly she loved being with her family and friends. Julia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Julia had a big love for life, she had a compassionate heart, friendly soul, and never met a stranger.
