Julianna “Julie” Clerc (nee Wyers), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the age of 52. Loving wife of Dean Clerc; beloved daughter of Stephen Albert Wyers and the late Mary Frances Wyers; devoted mother of Caitlin Clerc, Lauren Clerc, and Maura Clerc; dearest sister of Becky (Chris) Williams, Amy (Matt) Ritter, and Leah (Jason) Foshe.
Julie graduated from UM-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was an amazing nurse and caregiver to her patients for more than 30 years at Christian Hospital, BJC Healthcare.
Julie was extremely giving and had a heart of gold. She was a wonderful friend and developed relationships with everyone wherever she went. She was a true social butterfly who loved everyone, and everyone loved her. She was very passionate about animals and loved her dogs, Laila, a Siberian Husky, and Tucker, a Golden Retriever.
As a former dancer, Julie was a dedicated “Dance Mom” and encouraged her daughters to share in her love of the art. She was always there for her daughters at their dance practices, rehearsals, and performances. Seeing her daughters dance was one of the greatest joys in her life.
Throughout her 4 ½ year battle with cancer, Julie summoned all of her strength to work full-time caring for others, oftentimes providing comfort to other cancer patients by drawing from her own experiences. Julie remained positive despite her circumstances, laughing often, and finding immense joy and happiness in the simplest of life’s pleasures.
Julie will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her deep love for family and friends, her jovial spirit, incredible strength and selfless nature. She was dearly loved and will forever remain a source of inspiration for all who knew her.
