Julia "Julie" A. LaBeau (nee Fitzgerald), of Woodson Terrace, MO, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Fri., Nov. 20, 2020, at the age of 95. Julie is the loving wife of the late Charles L. LaBeau. She is survived by her children Steve (Cindy) LaBeau, Debbie (Doug) Parker, Ron (Julie) LaBeau, Rick (Sue) LaBeau and Kim (Gabe) Gamboa; her grandchildren, Christin, Tom, Nick (Ryan), Shannon (Brad) Curtin, Kevin (Jackie), Danny (Tricia), Mariah (Cody), Kyle and Josh; her great-grandchildren, Clark, Phoebe, Joseph, Felicity, Arrow, Landen, Lukas and Logan; dear sister to Margaret "Peggy" (late George "Lloyd") Sargent, late Michael (Elaine) Fitzgerald, late Edward (late Nora) Fitzgerald, Lillian "Maureen" (Jim) Walsh.
For Julie, her family was always everything. Nothing gave her more joy than planning the next get together and bringing everyone together. She knew no strangers. Those that knew her well knew that she had a saying for almost every situation. She had a wonderful sense of humor, too.
At 91 years old, she was delivering Meals on Wheels to those that were shut in. She was a 40+ year member of T.O.P.S. where she attended faithfully and always watched what she ate the day before because she knew she would be weighing in. Her favorite poem was "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer. Julie loved her family, friends, and life.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that contributions be made to
SSM Health Hospice & Home Health Foundation. The caregivers made Julie's last weeks comfortable and loved.
