Julius “Dutch” William Heidbreder Jr.

September 27, 1927 — January 25, 2022

Julius "Dutch" William Heidbreder Jr., of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of 53 years to Debby Heidbreder; cherished son of the late Julius (Catherine) Heidbreder Sr.; devoted father of Gina (Terry) McAndrew, Steve (Eva) Heidbreder, and Sherri (Tom) Seymour; loving grandfather of Jason (Brittany) Heidbreder, Bryan (Lauren) Heidbreder, Shannon McAndrew, Laura (Paul) Glenn, Holly McAndrew, David McAndrew, and Amy Jackson; many great grandchildren; and dear brother of the late Shirley Knapp.

Dutch proudly served in the United States Navy. He dedicated many years to McDonnell Douglas in Payroll. Dutch attended Grace Community Chapel with Debby. He enjoyed going on walks and was most at peace, being outdoors. Dutch loved traveling the world and was also a Cardinals Baseball fan. Most of all, Dutch cherished the memories he made with his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Dutch's name to American Cancer Society.

The family invites you to join them at 9:30am at  Baue Funeral Home, O'Fallon, 311 wood Street, to prepare a procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for a Graveside service where Dutch will be receiving military funeral honors.

Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
