Julius John Pfaff, Jr, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at the age of 94. Julius, son of Julius Pfaff, Sr., and Laura Pfaff (nee Buehrle) was born on December 15, 1919, and was a lifelong resident of St. Charles, Missouri. Julius had only recently become ill in early 2014. He retired from the American Car and Foundry, in St. Charles, where he worked as a railroad car design draftsman. Throughout his life Julius had many interests that he maintained well into his retirement; billiards, gardening, wine making, painting, woodworking, photography, fishing and a deep love for his family. Julius is preceded by his loving wife, Dorris, and survived by his children Mary Lee (Pfaff) Blechle, Dale Pfaff, Carol Anne (Pfaff) Nelson and Patricia (Pfaff) Clark. Julius had 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Julius was a lifelong, devout Catholic who attended St. Charles Borromeo and St. Peter's churches in St. Charles.
Julius would have requested any donations to be made to St. Vincent DePaul through St. Peter's Parish in St. Charles.
