Eisenbath, “Kak” M. Kathleen, of O’Fallon, MO, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the age of 87. Loving wife of the late Bertram “Bertie” Eisenbath; beloved daughter of the late Jake and Katherine Schaeffer, and step-daughter of Hanna Schaeffer; devoted mother of Candace (David) Reece, Bertram M. Eisenbath, Jr., Robbyn (Stephen) Edman, Melissa Lowrey, Kevin (Brenda) Eisenbath, and Kent Eisenbath; cherished “Gran” of 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and dear sister of Gladys Reppell, Marjorie Gentemann, and Alice (Donald) Forbeck. Kak is preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Schaeffer, Thelma Hull, Richard Schaeffer, and James Schaeffer.
Kak was a proud small business owner, with her husband Bertie, for many years, within the O’Fallon area. She was also one of the founding members of the O’Fallon VFW Auxiliary, and an active member of Assumption of the B.V.M Catholic Church for more than 60 years. Kak enjoyed bowling, making quilts for her grandkids, playing along with Jeopardy, doing crossword puzzles, reading, and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
