Karen Peyton

Karen Sue Peyton (nee Owen), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of Dennis Peyton; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Helen Owen; devoted mother of Denise (Curt) Tusler, Laura Paul, and Holly Paul; loving grandmother of Peyton Tusler and Caden Tusler; dear sister of Craig (Janet) Owen.

Karen belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Olivette, and worked as a Registered Nurse. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, and is lovingly remembered for her big heart and kind nature. Karen was an animal lover with a special place in her heart for Snoopy, and she supported local rescue organizations whenever she could. She was also a great sports fan, and looked forward to watching the Cardinals play and Sunday afternoon football games. Karen’s happy place was at the beach where she loved to soak up the sun, but nothing gave her as much joy as time spent with her beloved family. Karen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial contributions may be made in Karen's honor to SSM Hospice, Immanuel Lutheran Church of Olivette, or the Humane Society of St. Louis.
