Rose, Karen Rae (nee Phillips) of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Monday April 30, 2018, at the age of 73.
Beloved wife of 46 loving years to Richard W. Rose; cherished daughter of the late Paul and Betty Rae Phillips; devoted mother of Merrytt (Ronald Dennis) Dell, Michelle (Charlie) Hillemann, Melissa (Chris) Felmlee, and Andrea Rose; loving grandmother of Jessica (Nathan) Dalton, Nicholas (Jen) Dell, Daulton, Megan, and Ashlyn Hillemann, Erica, Chris, Amanda, and Garrett Felmlee, Justin Rose, Jasmine, Kayla, Samantha, Bradley, and Brianna Spates, one great-grandchild on the way, and step great grandchild Gabriel, and was a dear Aunt, Cousin, and friend to many. Karen is preceded in death by her sister Mary Jo Jurczak and niece Angela Jo Mueller.
Karen was a Hair Dresser for 30 years. She later worked as a teacher aide at St. Cletus Catholic School. She especially enjoyed helping students with reading, a pastime she dearly loved. Crocheting and coloring were some of her favorite activities. She enjoyed many outings such as “Cousin’s Lunches”, Vegas trips and traveling with the Golden Oldies. Mostly Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be remembered for her spunky sense of humor. Karen was dearly loved and will be missed by all who know her.
