Kate Elizabeth Dudenhoeffer of Saint Peters, MO, unexpectedly left this world on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at the age of 5. Beloved daughter of Craig and Erica Dudenhoeffer; treasured granddaughter of Pam and Ken Price, David Dudenhoeffer, and the late Dorothy Dudenhoeffer; sweet sister of Jacob and Nicholas Dudenhoeffer; loving niece of Nathan Price; and dear friend and inspiration to many.
Kate was born with a Congenital Heart Defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and endured numerous surgeries and procedures in her short life. She was a heart warrior and never gave up, even through unimaginable times. She was not only surviving, she was thriving, after many years of hard work. Kate was in Kindergarten, and absolutely loved it. She loved being Ms. Social and walking/running the halls of her school in her walker. She fought courageously against all odds and will be remembered for her determined and sassy attitude.
She loved playing outside on the swings, swimming, throwing balls, and playing with her brothers. Kate took two amazing trips this past year, one was her first visit to the beach, and the other was her Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World. Kate loved meeting her best friend, Minnie Mouse and even rode her first rollercoaster. Kate had a profound impact on this world, her smile and laugh were one of a kind. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her and never forgotten.
