Katherine L. Bohnert

Bohnert, Katherine L. (nee: Cain) of St. Charles, MO, formerly of Jennings, MO, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late John T. Bohnert, Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Christine Cain, Sr.; devoted mother of Thom (Michelle) Bohnert, Kathleen (Peter) Gicona, and Jack (Margie) Bohnert; loving grandmother of Joe (Michelle) Gicona, Katherine (Jeremi Bertels) Gicona, Kevin (Andrea) Bohnert, Daniel (Stacey) Bohnert, Megan (Bryan) Thomas, Kip (Amy) Bohnert, and Jemere (Brandon) Ruby; treasured great-grandmother of eight and two on the way; dear sister of Patsy (Stan) Weidner, Sally (Russell) Bombardieri, and the late Edward Cain, Jr. Katherine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Katherine was a longtime member of St. Cletus Catholic Church. She was very family oriented and was known as “Grandma” by everyone. In her spare time, Katherine enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She loved flowers, sunshine, and working in her yard. Katherine’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
