Kathleen Lono Boothman (nee Forshee), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 93. Beloved daughter of the late Walter and Henryetta Forshee; devoted mother of Kevin (Marty) Boothman, Kim (Lori) Boothman, and William (Julie) Boothman; cherished grandmother of Daniel and Christopher Golden, Daniel and Matthew Boothman, Will and Emma Boothman, and Hillary (Gavin) Richards; treasured great-grandmother of Andrew, Samuel, Scarlett-Jo, and Clark Golden, Violet and Jude Richards; dear sister of Kerin Oard of Winfield, KS. Preceded in death by her brothers, Kenton Forshee and Kenneth Forshee. 

Kathleen, born in Tonkawa, OK, earned a BA in Education from Phillips University and dedicated over 45 years to teaching elementary education and remedial reading before retiring at the age of 70. As the wife of an Air Force serviceman, she lived in eight different states throughout her life. A devoted lifelong member of the Disciples of Christ, she was an active member of St. Charles Christian Church in New Town. Kathleen had a deep love for reading, often finishing more than five books a week. She was also a passionate collector of Santa Claus memorabilia, amassing over 500 unique pieces. Kathleen was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
