Kathleen M. Lehmen

Lehmen, Kathleen M “Kathy” of Portage Des Sioux, MO, died on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 75. Loving wife of late Robert Lehmen for 49 years; beloved daughter of the late William and Olga Ohlhausen; devoted mother of Jim (Stacy) Lehmen, John (Stephanie) Lehmen, Mark (Kathy) Lehmen, Tom (Courtney) Lehmen, Matt (Sheri) Lehmen, and Beth (Alvin) Ruckwardt; cherished grandmother of Kelsey, Remi, Emily, Grant, Zack, Garrett, Alexandra, Gage, Emmett, Randi, Madison, Javier, Benjamin, and Tyler. Dear sister of Carol (George) Mueller and Ronald Ohlhausen. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lehmen and brother William (Anita) Ohlhausen.
 
Pre-children, Kathy studied nursing, a skill that served her many times while raising five sons and a daughter.  Although Kathy was confined to a wheelchair most of her adult life, she never stopped going and people looked at her as a true inspiration.  Kathy spent enjoyable time spoiling, chasing, loving, and bragging about her grandkids.   She was a free spirit type of woman who, after Bob died, travelled to Memphis and Florida on her own, and arranged a Hawaiian cruise with her sister and two cousins. Kathy was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
