Kathleen Louise Moyer

Kathleen Louise Moyer (nee Keene), age 82, late of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana, went to the Lord on December 9, 2021. Kathleen was born August 13, 1939, in Sullivan, Indiana to Noah Claude Keene and Ethyl Marie Moore. By age 12, both of her parents had passed, and she was taken in by her older sister Thelma and husband Bill Davis in Terre Haute, IN. Kathleen (Katy) graduated high school in 1957 and married Donald Moyer in October 1957. Katy and Don enjoyed 64 years of marriage, raising three children: Donald Moyer Jr. of Palmyra, PA; Deborah Moyer-Herst (Ward) of Lake St. Louis, MO; and Dianna Moyer of O’Fallon, MO. Katy was the fun roller-blading grandmother who loved young people and devoted herself to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Katy battled various cancers for approximately 25 years before being overcome by Covid-19.
In addition to her parents, Katy is preceded in death by 12 siblings. She is survived by her husband, three children, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Grandchildren include Donald Moyer III (Cesserie), Miranda Brown (Christopher), Joseph Herst (Kristen), and Eric Herst (Alexandra). Great-Grandchildren include Anora, Anya, Davis, Cedric, and Luka.
Celebration of Life services will be held December 16 at 10 am at Dardenne Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the church. A livestream is available for those who are unable to attend:
