Kathleen “Kathy” Mae Henderson Toppins was born August 5, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed from this earth on June 18, 2024, following a prolonged illness. Kathy was a kind and gentle soul, who faced life with grit and determination and brought much joy and many laughs to her family and friends. She had many challenges but was a model for surviving her difficulties.

Kathy was a 1972 graduate of William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio and worked many years at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas. Kathy is survived by two sisters, Carol Henderson Lieser (husband, Charles Douglas Lieser) of Coppell, Texas, and Pamela Henderson Nichols, (husband, Joe Nichols) of Montana, along with her nieces: Maggie (Junaid) Lieser Gul, Catherine (Allen) Lieser Wright, Laura Emily Lieser, Jennifer Riley, Roxanne Nichols Shockley, and Leslie Nichols Mathiason and her nephews: Gregory Charles (Sofia) Lieser and Jacob Riley. She is also survived by her great nieces Kaitlyn Mathiason, Elizabeth Shockley, Ana Clare Lieser and Catherine Siena Wright as well as her great nephews: Noah Mathiason, Charles Damien Lieser and William August Wright. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Eldon and Marjorie Gardener Henderson, her sister Joni Jo Henderson Riley of St Louis, Missouri, and her brother, Ronald David Turpin of Reading, Ohio. Kathy’s ashes will be inurned at Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Coppell, Texas.

Kathy, you will be missed! May God grant you rest in His eternal peace. We will meet again dear sister, aunt, and friend!
