Kathryn A. Wobus of Saint Louis, MO, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at the age of 60. Cherished daughter of the late Hermann Becker Wobus and Velma Hackmann; dear sister of Richard (Nadine) Wobus, John Wobus, and Gregory Wobus; loving aunt of 2 nieces and 1 nephew; and great-aunt of 3.
Kathy attended Elon College and then Washington University before graduating with her Masters. She dedicated more than 36 years to social work at Cardinal Ritter Senior Services. She was a member of Kappa Phi Sorority and also a member of Grace United Methodist Church St. Louis where she sang in the church choir and served as pianist and backup organist, and previously directed the children’s choir. She enjoyed traveling and making memories with her family and friends. Kathy was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church of St. Louis, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, or Christ Methodist Church of Norfolk in Kathryn’s honor.
