Kathryn Giannobile Valenti

August 25, 1916 — March 15, 2018

Kathryn Giannobile Valenti passed away at the home of her niece, Sharon Roth and Mike Noland, in St. Charles, Missouri on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the age of 101.  She was born August 25, 1916 to Mary Ann Macagnoni and Philip Giannobile in Hammond, Louisiana.  She is the dear sister of the late Salvadore Giannobile, Vincent Giannobile, Anthony Giannobile, and Mary Lee G. Linnemann.

Kate was the beloved wife of the late Frank P. Valenti for 48 years.  They spent their many happy years of marriage in New Orleans, Louisiana, enjoying Mardi Gras parades and Mardi Gras balls, as well as long-time season ticket holders to the New Orleans Saints.  Kate was an avid bowler and a member of a women’s bowling league.  She enjoyed gardening and cooking, as well as sharing her famous meatballs with family and friends.  She was a dear aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many.
