Kathryn “Kay” Bartlow of O Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the age of 72. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Caroline Garavaglia; and her sister, Josephine Garavaglia.
Kay is survived by her husband Terry Bartlow. Although their love will be forever, Kay passed on their 50th wedding anniversary. She is also survived by her children, Christopher (Jenny) Bartlow and Jennifer (Jeff) West; her grandchildren, Gavin Michael West, Garrett Thomas West, and Audrey Kathryn West; her siblings, Antoinette (Norman) Berra and John (Judy) Garavaglia; her fur baby, Lola, the fabulous felines, Lucy and Trudie and her grandpuppies, Fiona and Pepper; she was an aunt, cousin, and loyal friend to many.
Kay was a woman of great faith who treasured the religious family she found at Compton Heights Baptist Church. She volunteered her time serving on the Church Support Group and was proud to be a part of a church who values serving others. Throughout her life, Kay played many roles and loved her expanded work families she was a part of. Kay will be remembered for her bright, outgoing personality that lit up any room she walked into. She truly lived life out loud with confidence and vibrance.
Above everything, Kay cherished her family; her grandchildren were her absolute world. She loved spending time making memories and having laughs with those closest to her. Kay had a big heart and would never hesitate to help out anyone in need. She was a natural confidant for people to lean on whenever they needed her and accepted everyone for who they were. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
