Kathy Hossenlopp of St. Charles, MO, passed away Monday October 9, 2017, at the age of 60. Beloved wife of 32 years to Jim Hossenlopp; cherished daughter of Roy H. Humphrey; lovingly raised by the late Don and Shirley LeRoy (nee Humphrey); devoted mother of Roy (Jessica) Kissel, Kelly (Anthony) Laramore, and Terry Hossenlopp; treasured grandmother of Alicia and Ryan Kissel, Noah, Grace, and Avery Laramore, and Leyla Hossenlopp; dear sister of Kenny (Michael) LeRoy, Karen (Tom) Buckowitz, Donny (Julie) LeRoy, Carol (Gary) Unger, and Lynn (Rob) Heflin; sister-in-law of Cathy Helms; and daughter-in-law of Esther Hossenlopp. Kathy was also a dear niece, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Kathy met the love of her life, Jim, in 1982 after the World Series: St. Louis Cardinals versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Together they loved traveling and dreamed on exploring the world more after retirement. She devoted herself to her family, especially her grandchildren, and her friends lovingly dubbed “The Mamas”. When not enjoying her favorite people, she loved to watch television and read. Some of her favorite authors include Stephen King and James Patterson and her favorite films were “Gone with the Wind” and “Wizard of Oz”. Kathy was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
