Kay Benson

Walters-Benson, Nonna Kay, (nee: Hart) of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at the age of 67. Devoted wife of Noel Benson; dear daughter of the late Benjamin and the late Rubye Hart; loving mother of Cherie (Gordon) Hixon, Therese Woolbright and Raegan (Jeff) Hollandsworth; cherished grandmother of Jessica Frey, Katrina Walters, Scott Walters Hixon and Khyle Walters Benson, and great-grandmother of Caden Frey and Haley Kay Frey; dear sister of Mary Jo "Jody" James and Gary Patrick (Louise) Hart; treasured aunt and great-aunt to many; dear step-mother of Jane (Charles) Hallsted, Margaret (Charles) Jenkins and Penny (Patrick) Griffin; cherished step-grandmother of Ben Cote', Melanie (Bill) Noyes, Catrina Cote', Lee & Giulietta Bockhorn, Laura Bockhorn, and step-great-grandmother of Kayla & Tyler Noyes, Alison Cote', Clare & David Bockhorn, Brian & Nathan Manning and Hailey Bockhorn. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Troy Walters, and her brothers, Richard, Eugene and Benny Dean Hart. She was the President of DSM Consultants and was a Eucharistic minister at All Saints Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the David C. Pratt Cancer Center or All Saints Catholic Church Buiding Fund.
