Keiko Mersch

Keiko Mersch of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 90 on Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Labanca; her second husband, John Mersch; her two stepsons, Norman and Richard Labanca; and her parents.

Keiko is survived by her children; Leonard Labanca and Mary (Chris) Powell; her stepchildren, Jack (Linda) Labanca, Jeannie Labanca, Josophine Labanca, and Linda DeJesus; her grandson, Jason Wuelling; her great-granddaughter, Mya Wuelling; her family in Japan; and other family and friends.

Keiko was very creative and she enjoyed taking up her sewing, artistic, and crafting projects. She was an excellent cook of Japanese food and she liked to prepare delicious meals for her loved ones. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Keiko’s name may be made to an organization of the donor’s choice.
