Kenneth D. Steele, 51, of Wentzville, MO, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at his home.
Kenneth was born September 22, 1969, in Philadelphia, PA, to Barbara Steele and Robert Steele. He graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1987 and attended Drexel University in Philadelphia where he earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he accepted a position at Spartech in Warsaw, Indiana where he proudly worked for over 27 years. On November 21, 1998, he married his loving wife, Patty (Thornsbury) Steele. In 2010 Ken and his family relocated to Wentzville, Missouri.
Ken was a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers, a big sports fan, and loved to watch the St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ken was a wonderful husband, father, son, and brother who loved his family deeply. He was an amazing friend and mentor to all who knew him. He would do anything for his family and friends, especially when it came to making them laugh. He will be missed but remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and intelligence.
Ken was the cherished son to Barbara (Larry Schuster) Canning-Steele and the late Robert Steele; he is survived by his son Kenny Steele, and stepchildren Holly (Chris) Hansen, Zak Hoffer, and Zeth Hoffer; dear brother of Bob (Karen) Steele, Kristen Middleton and Craig Steele; stepbrother of Lisa (Ted) Tyree, Kimberly (Jason) Sword; Kenneth is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ken will also be missed by his neck warmer puppy, Oakley.
A separate memorial service for Kenneth will be held in Philadelphia, PA at a later date.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America or Cardinal Services in Warsaw, Indiana.
