Kenneth E. Riechers

Kenneth Eugene Riechers, age 93, of St. Charles, Missouri, Saturday October 14, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Betty Riechers the love of his life; cherished son of the late Lafe S. and Pearl Riechers; devoted father of Charles  (Karen) Riechers, Richard (Diane) Riechers, Marlene (James) Sadler, and Roger (Lisa) Riechers; loving grandfather of Adam (Sherry) Riechers, Amanda (Steve) Covey, Andy  (Michelle ) Kincaid, Carey Johnson, Sarah (John Zimmerman) Riechers, Nolan Riechers, Rebecca (Michael) Little, Kevin (Maureen) Sadler, Matt (Casey) Sadler, Jacob (Leslie) Riechers, and Jeffrey (Rachel) Riechers; treasured great-grandfather of 15; dear great-great-grandfather of 1. He was also a loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Kenneth proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a highly decorated World War II veteran. He retired from Monsanto where he was a mechanic for many years. He was advid Cardinal fan, farmed, loved fishing and hunting, mushroom hunting, tending to his vegetable garden and bowling. Kenneth was a member of the American Legion Post 312 and Zion Lutheran Church in Harvester. He will be remembered for being very devoted to his family, and very active in his grandchildren’s lives. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
