Renken, Kenneth H. "Casey", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Doris C. Renken nee: Sigmund; beloved son of late Carl and Edna Renken; devoted father of Terry Renken, Brett (Traci) Renken, Diane Speno, Lisa (Jim) Carucci and father-in-law of Marcia Renken; devoted and proud grandfather eight grandsons and five granddaughters, loving great-grandfather of two great-granddaughters; dear brother of Earl (Gaylene) Renken, Maralyn Joseph and brother-in-law of Dorothy Renken; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Keith Renken, and siblings, Ralph, Carlton and Bernice Renken. Kenneth, along with his brothers Carlton and Earl, owned and operated Renken's Thriftway, first at 7th and First Capitol, then at Kingshighway and Elm for over 35 years. Kenneth was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and also a WWII Veteran in which he was a member of the 324th Airdrome Squadron 5th Air Force. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Duchesne High School.
