Kenneth Robert Kurre Sr.

Kenneth Robert Kurre Sr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Mary Kurre; cherished son of the late Wilmar Frederick Kurre and the late Louise Elizabeth Wulfemeyer; devoted father of Kenneth (Amy) Kurre, II, Kaley (Phil) Azar, and Amae (Robbie Elias) Kurre; loving grandfather of Chad (Jessica) Kurre, Courtland (Carissa Brown) Kurre, McKenzie Kurre, Madison Kurre, Tanner (Kevin Brown) Azar, Jillian (Jonah Sharp) Azar, and Braden (Aniel) Azar; treasured great grandfather of Mikey and Finn Kurre, and Myles Sharp; dear brother of Audrey Woolverton, Suzi Marske, the late Rich Kurre, and the late Barry (Patti Survives) Kurre.

Ken proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force and shared 53 wonderful years with his beloved wife, Mary. Together, they embraced a love for nature and the outdoors, enjoying camping, float trips, fishing, and archery. Ken had a deep love for his family and a wild sense of humor that brought joy and laughter to those around him. He was deeply inspired and had a profound respect for Native American culture and art. Throughout his life, he formed and treasured many lifelong friendships. Ken was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
